community organizations
In an effort to make more Bay Area community organizations known to the public, I made this tiny page.
Organizations will be updated quarterly. Please check them out and consider donating/volunteering, if you can!
Hip Hop for Change
“HipHopForChange seeks to address injustices of representation through education, community building, and the creation of a platform for people who identify with Hip Hop culture to express their true voices, selves, and culture. We create a space that emphasizes and encourages the root values of Hip Hop culture: peace, love, unity, and having fun.”
CASA SF
“Our vision is that every child has a safe and loving home and is given the opportunity to thrive.
Through advocacy and mentorship, the San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocate Program empowers community members to stand up for a foster child and champion their rights in court.”
Oakland Elizabeth House
“Oakland Elizabeth house offers a residence to women with children who have experienced the poverty of homelessness, violence, and addiction. We support the women and children in their transition to independence by empowering them with the tools to rebuild their lives. We provide housing, education, employment, and health and wellness resources.”
